The Ropley King's Singers

Conductor, Alison Benton

The Ropley King's Singers is a friendly, welcoming Community choir based in Ropley.  Formed in 2023 to sing at the Coronation Celebration in St Peter's Church, the choir has gone from strength to strength since then. There are now around 50 singers, with new members always welcome.

The choir is, currently, invited to sing in two concerts per year in St Peter’s Church: an Advent / Christmas concert in late November and a summer concert in July, These are a mixture of sacred and secular pieces - some more classical, others more relaxed and jazzy. Click here for a review of our latest concert.

Membership is open to anyone - no previous choral experience is required and there is no audition.  Some members can read music, most can't and all the parts are taught in the fun and friendly rehearsals.  Rehearsal tracks are also provided for home study if wished.  A small charge is made for singing in each concert (typically around £10 to cover music costs).

Rehearsals are  on Friday evenings from 6pm - 7.30pm in St Peter's Church in the 8 weeks or so leading up to each concert.

Our next concert is on Saturday 29 November 2025 with rehearsals starting in early October. Please fill in the form below if would like to enquire about joining.
